Film for Change

Film for Change is a non-profit dedicated to the promotion, presentation and production of socially-conscious cinema and related arts that explore the complexity of the human condition more fully. Through artistic inquiry we discover inspiring insights and awaken our sensibilities to sound solutions for our planet.

Film for Change produces the annual Albuquerque Film Festival, an international festival focused on inventive technology, film, art, music, and performance. Film for Change also participates in several other film festivals and art venues. We aim to build and support a community of artists dedicated to creating positive change in our world through film, art, innovation, music and story.

Our outreach consists of promoting, presenting and producing important projects through a multitude of channels. Whether helping a first time filmmaker or a seasoned veteran, we aim to help the storytellers that have an important story to share with us all. We work with filmmakers of all ages and all levels to help them tell their stories.

Film for Change not only engages a community of artists focused on bringing the trials and triumphs of our world to life through film (and related media) but also engages a world of viewers and doers prepared to act on the messages of the artist. Film for Change seeks to embrace and empower the people and places around us all.
